God of War Ragnarok Abandoned Village is a large open region that you will discover alongside Freya during The Reckoning Main Quest as you try to find the source of Odin’s curse binding her to Midgard.
But during your first visit through The Abandoned Village, you won’t be able to access multiple areas of the region containing collectibles because they require the use of the Draupnir Spear.
Below, you’ll find all Abandoned Village collectibles in GoW Ragnarok, as follows:
- 1 Nornir Chest
- 3 Legendary Chests
- 2 Lore
- 1 Odin’s Raven
- 1 Draugr Hole
Therefore, after you’ve completed the story, follow this guide to learn where to find all Abandoned Village collectibles in God of War Ragnarok.

Odin’s Raven: Inside A Tree
To reach The Abandoned Village, find and gather all the collectibles in the Eastern Barri Woods region covered in depth here.
After collecting the final Lore Rune Read collectible at the end of the Eastern Barri Woods region, hang down from the ledge and swing across using the grappling point to enter the region.
Go to the left, climb the ledge and slide down the rope. Then, go through the broken wall ahead, and keep going around to the left until you enter a pavilion.
On the other side of this pavilion, you’ll see the GoW Ragnarok Abandoned Village Odin’s Raven sitting inside a tree.
Throw your Leviathan Axe to kill Odin’s Raven and progress The Eyes Of Odin Favour covered here.
Lore Rune Read (Prayer to Freya): Inside Of A Ruined Building
From Odin’s Raven, use the nearby spear to jump across and follow the path until you reach a wall that you can climb near the waterfall.
Climb the wall by following the white markings to the right and use the grappling point to reach a cave entrance. If you climb the wall to the top, you’ll reach a path leading back to the Eastern Barri Woods region.
Go through the cave, then use the grappling point between the two houses to reach one of the 80 Lore Collectibles mentioned here written with blue runes inside a small room on the left wall.
Legendary Chest 1 (Shatter Star Shield): Under Poison Mist
To the left of the previous Lore Rune Read, use your Blades of Chaos to destroy the small wooden barricade by pressing (Circle), then squeeze through the gap behind it.
Swing across using the east grappling point, jump down, and break the creates to clear the path. Then, freeze the poison plant with your Leviathan Axe to clear the mist and climb the golden chain.
On the right side, you’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Abandoned Village Legendary Chest surrounded by poison mist from the nearby plant.
Freeze the poisonous plant with your Leviathan Axe and open the Legendary Chest to receive the Shatter Star Shield.

Lore Scroll (Chores): Behind A Tools Rack
From the previous Legendary Chest, climb the nearby ledge and slide down the long rope.
Immediately after landing, turn your camera east to find a pillar with a flag where you can throw a spear to create a climbing path.
Use the spear the climb up, exit the house by climbing down the stairs and look behind the tools rack to find the GoW Ragnarok Abandoned Village Lore Scroll glowing on the ground.
Draugr Hole (Chaos Spark): In A Cave
Cross the bridge behind the previous Lore Scroll and enter the cave to find God of War Ragnarok Abandoned Village Draugr Hole.
Defeat The Hateful miniboss to close the Draugr Hole and to progress the Born From Fire Favour covered here.
Legendary Chest 2 (Rönd of Restoration): Inside A House
After closing the Draugr Hole, crouch through the hole behind it, climb the ledge and jump over the gap to find the GoW Ragnarok Abandoned Village Legendary Chest.
Open the Legendary Chest to receive the Rönd of Restoration, a Shield Attachment.
Nornir Chest: Near A Crane With A Fire Bucket
From the Legendary Chest, push the plate to the left, jump down below, climb the stairs to the left inside the house and use the spear to the left to swing back down. Don’t slide down the rope.
After using the spear to swing down, follow the path to the left and use the grappling points on the walls and trees to reach the top. Ahead you will find a crane you can turn by hitting the plates around it.
On the other side, under the broken wooden bridge, is the God of War Ragnarok Abandoned Village Nornir Chest.
To open this Nornir Chest, you’ll have to ignite the three seal braziers using the fire bucket from the crane and your Blades of Chaos.
The first brazier is on your side of the broken bridge, but you can’t see it. Turn the crane with the bucket toward you, interact with the bucket by pressing (Circle), and drag it to the left to ignite the first brazier.
The second seal brazier is on the other side of the broken bridge. Turn the crane with the fire bucket toward the brazier allowing you to use a grappling point to swing on the other side.
Interact with the fire bucket by pressing (Circle), then drag it to the right to ignite the second brazier.
After igniting the second brazier, turn around to spot the third seal brazier sitting by the river.
Go down the path near the broken bridge and ignite the final brazier using your Blades of Chaos by pressing (R2) + (L2).
After igniting all three seal braziers, open the Nornir Chest under the broken bridge to receive an Idunn Apple or a Horn of Blood Mead.

Legendary Chest 3 (Helios Flare): Near A Crane
Now, from the Nornir Chest, follow the linear path until you reach another crane that you can turn by hitting the plates around it.
But a stone pillar it’s blocking the way. Drop down below and enter the small cave with a Hacksilver Chest to the right of the stone pillar.
In the corner of the cave, interact with the stone pillar by pressing (Circle) to pull it down. Climb back up and turn the crane to swing across using the grappling point.
Then, follow the path to the next ledge, where you can see the Legendary Chest, and turn the crane two times to swing across using the grappling point.
Open the God of War Ragnarok Abandoned Village Legendary Chest to receive Helios Flare, Light Runic Attack for your Blades of Chaos.
